We are proud to announce that the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in San Jose is a member of the United Coalition for Immigrant Services—a partnership between two long-standing collaboratives: CRISP (Collaborative Resources for Immigrant Services on the Peninsula, established in 2005) and SBLISN (South Bay Legal Immigration Services Network, established in 2009).

As part of SBLISN, IRC San Jose works alongside 15 other community-based organizations to provide free and low-cost immigration legal services to children, families, and older adults in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Together, we are committed to ensuring immigrant and refugee communities have access to trusted legal guidance and representation.

Client Success Spotlight
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IRC San Jose supported a mother in filing an asylee family petition for her three children. Though the process was delayed due to pandemic-related backlogs, the family was finally reunited in 2024. Today, those children have returned to the IRC in San Jose office to begin their adjustment of status—and we’re honored to continue walking alongside them as they pursue permanent residency and a secure future in the United States.
