On May 21st, the IRC in Silver Spring celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity, a UN-sanctioned day to promote diversity and intercultural dialogue. Staff members dressed in traditional garments that embody their country’s culture and traditions.
At the IRC, we value diversity and the richness of the various world cultures we serve as well as those we represent among our staff. Tin Tin Oo, operations manager said, “I am very proud to be a part of such a uniquely diverse team. Today, we were able to come together to celebrate the beauty in our differences.”
