At the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Utah, we look back on a year of immense upheaval and new challenges for the families we serve. But, we also reflect on the growth of our community, the strength of our partnerships, the dedication of our incredible team and the compassion of numerous volunteers. Each strengthens our resolve.
In May, we invite you to join us as we celebrate our shared values of welcome, inclusion and opportunity at our fundraising dinner: Rebuilding Lives Elevating Futures. This will be a truly special & fun event! We’ll gather to enjoy a meal, experience live performances from diverse community members, and engage as a community. Our celebrations will be underscored by the urgency of the moment: the IRC will continue to be there for refugee and new American families, no matter what. We hope you’ll be there.

This year, our friends at the Utah Bar Foundation have offered a challenge grant—they will match up to $45,000 in sponsorships. That means eligible sponsors have the opportunity to double their impact. All matched funds will go toward expanding access to low‑to‑no‑cost immigration legal services. Ahead of the event, help us raise an additional $5,000 before May 21 to reach our challenge match grant set by the Utah Bar Foundation. They are offering to match up to $45,000 total from event fundraising efforts.
