Introducing TeamUp for Change
Team Volunteer Engagement that Makes a Difference
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Northern California is proud to launch TeamUp for Change — a new initiative that empowers companies and community groups to make a tangible impact in their communities through meaningful, hands-on volunteer experiences.
Through this program, teams commit to a one-day volunteer project that directly supports refugees, immigrants, and other vulnerable populations as they rebuild their lives. Activities range from apartment setups and donation drives to garden volunteer days and youth mentorship events — each designed to meet real, local needs.
By contributing $5,000, your company transforms a single workday into a day of purpose — building stronger communities, fostering collaboration, and leaving a lasting mark of compassion and inclusion.
What’s Included
Your company’s participation includes:
- A custom one-day volunteer experience designed around local community needs
- Dedicated IRC staff coordination and onsite facilitation
- A custom impact report with photos and stories to share internally or externally
- Recognition on IRC NorCal’s platforms, when applicable
- A tax-deductible donation that sustains IRC’s ongoing programs for newcomers across Northern California
Why Partner with IRC NorCal?
Your team’s time and generosity directly support families as they work toward safety, stability, and belonging. In a moment when funding cuts and policy shifts threaten access to essential services, your engagement helps bridge the gap and create real opportunity.
Together, we can turn compassion into action — one team, one day, one community at a time.
