Office Hours
The IRC in Boise's programs typically operate Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Our office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Beginning on June 2nd, IRC office reception is limited to:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, open 9am-4pm (closed 4-5pm)
- Thursdays, open 1-4 pm (closed 9am-1 pm and 4-5pm)
IRC staff may schedule appointments with clients outside of the posted reception hours.
The office will be closed on the following holidays:
- Thursday, June 19, for Juneteenth
- Friday, July 4, for Independence Day
- Monday, September 1, for Labor Day
To request IRC immigration legal services
If you are requesting IRC immigration legal services for the first time or are a former IRC client returning for services, please contact our immigration legal services team in one of two ways to schedule an eligibility assessment. This includes a pre-screening for immigration benefits or forms of relief that may be available to you.
- Come to the office on a legal screening day for an intake. No appointment is necessary and legal screening dates are posted below. Individuals will be seen on a first come, first served basis. Wait times will vary depending on demand.
- If the walk-in days or times do not work for your schedule, please call or text the immigration legal services team at 208-559-6825 to request an eligibility appointment.
Next immigration legal screening dates
- Wednesday, June 11: 9:30am - 11:30am
- Mid-July intake date to be announced in early July. Please check back.
To request all other IRC services
In addition to immigration legal services, IRC offers the following services: case management programs, cash assistance, employment, financial coaching and loans, and mental health services.
If you are requesting IRC services for the first time or are a former IRC client returning for services, please contact our intake team in one of two ways for an intake eligibility assessment.
- Come to the office on a Tuesday or Thursday for an intake assessment. See below for intake days and hours over the next month. No appointment is necessary. Individuals will be seen on a first come, first served basis. Wait times will vary each week.
- If you are not available during walk-in days or times, please call and leave a message at 208-344-1792. Our intake coordinator will call you back and schedule an appointment with an interpreter.

- Thursday, May 29: 1pm - 3pm
- Tuesday, June 3: 10am - 1pm
- Thursday, June 5: 1pm - 3pm
- Tuesday, June 10: 10am - 1pm
