Other ways to get involved in Tallahassee

Last updated

There are many ways to get involved with the IRC's work in Tallahassee.

Employ a refugee.

Refugees are resilient and are eager to find work and integrate into their new community. The IRC’s employment services help to prepare refugees for Tallahassee’s job market and secure employment locally. Please contact Una.bilic [at] rescue.org (subject: Helping%20refugees%20in%20Tallahassee%20find%20affordable%20housing)  to learn more.

Help us find affordable housing.

Many community members have offered to house newly-arriving refugee families in their homes. While we are deeply grateful for the gesture, the IRC in Tallahassee arranges for refugee families to rent their own apartments and houses as it is a more sustainable solution that respects the inherent dignity and independence of the people we serve. If you have properties that you are willing to lease out to our refugee families please contact Una.bilic [at] rescue.org (subject: Helping%20refugees%20in%20Tallahassee%20find%20affordable%20housing) .
