Idaho Gives unites nonprofits across Idaho by creating awareness and support for organizations that are doing amazing things in our communities. With over 500 organizations in the Idaho Gives network, we know that each dollar given to the IRC in Boise is a tangible sign of support for refugees and immigrants rebuilding their lives in the Treasure Valley. Idahoans have welcomed newcomers to the state for 50 years and IRC has worked directly with thousands of those families.
The primary goal of the IRC in Boise is to support refugees and other newcomers to become self-sufficient and ultimately to thrive in our local communities as residents, neighbors, taxpayers, employees, students, homeowners, and business owners. The IRC in Boise offers critical integration services to refugees and immigrants during their first few years living in Idaho. This year, we will support hundreds of clients with programs such as immigration legal services, individual and group mental health therapy, digital literacy and financial capabilities classes, career development and other specialized case management and employment services. Interpretation is provided in the client's preferred language at no cost to the client.
