Around the globe, the cost of living is surging and creating economic crises across entire societies and regions. While these impacts are widely-felt, displaced individuals and families living in urban areas are particularly vulnerable.

In this new policy brief, the IRC examines why that is and identifies ways that policymakers and other key stakeholders can build more inclusive social protection policies and approaches. This analysis is informed by the perspectives and experiences of IRC clients participating in the Re:Build program in Nairobi and Uganda.
