We are thrilled to release the New Roots 2024 Impact Report.  This document provides key statistics and stories that illustrate how New Roots programs across the country are improving the lives of newcomer Americans and their neighbors through food and agriculture.  

In 2024, New Roots programs: 

  • Supported over 19,000 individuals to access healthy food through gardens, markets, and food giveaways
  • Empowered young people in 6 cities to build their skills while combating hunger in their own communities
  • Helped new American farmers grow over $3.3 million worth of produce, and eat it or sell it through over 20 different local markets
  • Hosted over 400 events and activities that built connections and opportunities
