The International Rescue Committee has been responding to outbreaks of the Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We also responded In 2014, as West Africa experienced the largest ever outbreak of Ebola, which claimed over 11,000 lives.
The International Rescue Committee provides vital support to Afghans who have endured four decades of violent conflict, as well as natural disasters and an economic collapse.
The IRC is working with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit, educational organization behind “Sesame Street,” in support of millions of children in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq.
