The Rohingya are a stateless ethnic minority caught in the violence gripping Myanmar's Rakhine State. In less than a month, half a million people have fled to neighboring Bangladesh, making this the world's fastest-growing refugee crisis. And those who remain in camps in Rakhine live in increasingly dire conditions.

Daily life as a refugee in Bangladesh is a struggle, but that doesn't stop Fatima from volunteering at an IRC-supported health center in a camp that's home to 700,000 Rohingya who fled persecution and violence in Myanmar a year ago.
