Description of Activities: After-school program will be held at a elementary school near 43rd Ave & Thomas Rd. Program is for 1st -5th graders held on their early release day from school. Session 1 will be for 4th and 5th graders. Session 2 will be for 4th and 3rd graders. Session 1 will be for 1st and 2nd graders. Each of the three sessions will host approximately 14 students. We will focus on remedial math and English Language Arts skills, such as number recognition 1-100, addition and subtraction with regrouping, basic phonics, comprehension, and reading fluency. Many students have been recommended to attend by their teachers and there is a lot of parent support for this program. IRC staff will administer mini pre
