Every 4th Tuesday of the month, join IRC Phoenix for a collaborative and community-driven food distribution event in partnership with St. Mary’s Food Bank and Trinity Mennonite Church. These distributions are rooted in dignity, equity, and access—ensuring that refugee and immigrant families, as well as others disproportionately impacted by systemic barriers and SNAP benefit cuts, can access healthy, culturally relevant foods.
Volunteering is an opportunity to actively support community resilience, build connection, and contribute to a more equitable food system. Volunteers will work alongside IRC staff and fellow community members to create a welcoming, respectful, and efficient distribution experience.
We especially encourage volunteers who speak Spanish, Farsi, or Arabic (even at a basic level) to participate, as language access plays a key role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
