As a Youth Education Volunteer Tutor, you will come to the IRC office and tutor remotely to facilitate and participate in one-on-one and group work.

Purpose
The International Rescue Committee (IRC), works in the United States welcomes newly arrived refugees and immigrants, supports them in their resettlement, and provides holistic services to help them build new lives in their communities.
Role
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Facilitate small to large group instruction using provided curriculum. • Design and submit customized lesson plans based on provided curriculum to meet students’ learning needs by the indicated due date. • Create a welcoming environment that fosters community and learning among program participants while interacting with diverse population. • Prepare lesson materials effectively. • Submit Pre-Program/Post Program Surveys. • Communicate with Youth Education staff to collaborate on lesson plans and materials.
