Flexible funding allows IRC staff to respond the moment a crisis arises—whether that’s securing emergency housing, providing essential household supplies, covering transportation to a new job, or helping a family navigate an unexpected medical need.

3. Group Collection Projects

Community groups, faith partners, clubs, and companies are welcome to organize donation drives for high‑need items.

4. Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities are posted according to current positions available. Volunteers must be 18+ years old and children are welcome with supervising adults in rare cases. All volunteers must pass a background check. Read more details about our volunteer opportunities here. 

5. Amazon Wish List

One of the most effective ways to support families is by purchasing items directly from our Amazon Wish List. Items ship to the IRC Boise office and are distributed to clients as they arrive.
