The words Monarch Landing in yellow hover over three, evenly spaced pictures of volunteers setting up the space. In the first picture, two people make a bed, in the second, four people put together metal shelves, and in the third, four people landscape.
Idaho Gives 2022

The countdown to Idaho Gives is on

Join the IRC in Boise for Idaho Gives 2022, a week-long fundraiser uniting Idaho in support of nonprofits, like the IRC, working to make Idaho a better place for all to live.

This year, Idaho Gives runs May 2nd-6th, and the IRC in Boise will be fundraising to support our newly launched temporary housing space, Monarch Landing.

About Monarch Landing

When families and individuals first arrive to Idaho, they have a tough road ahead of building a new life here. A lot of work is put into settling in, including English classes, repaying travel loans, employment workshops, many orientations, school enrollment, housing applications, and more.

Finding housing is especially difficult for refugee families, as they have to learn to navigate new systems in a tight housing market while also not having credit or rental history in the US.

Now, Monarch Landing will offer newly arrived families and individuals a safe, welcoming place to stay while they settle in and find a new home in the Treasure Valley.

YOU can make a difference

With your help, we can ensure that Monarch Landing can provide a safe place for families to stay while they work on building a strong foundation for their new lives.

Please give now and learn more about Monarch Landing on our Idaho Gives Page, and follow us on Facebook and share the great stories, matching gifts, challenges and prizes we will be rolling out during the campaign.
