Volunteer, Keith Smith has worked tirelessly on behalf of IRC staff and clients and continues to go the extra mile on behalf of IRC clients.

"You can see the emotional impact of the explosion in every face," says IRC staff member Elias El Beam, who volunteered to help after the Beirut blast. "But you can also see hope."

President Trump’s recent Executive Order did not solve the family separation crisis. IRC humanitarian programs in some of the poorest places in the world tell us five things children and families need to survive and thrive that should be in place at the southern border.

Thirteen-year-old Helena was abducted by her uncle at gunpoint in impoverished South Sudan. He sold her to another man so he could pay for his own wife, following a practice known as the “bride price.”
