From Holguin, Cuba to Capital City Bank in Tallahassee: Ramon’s Journey to a Hopeful Future
After fleeing political persecution in Holguin, Cuba, Ramon was welcomed by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Tallahassee, who provided housing, financial assistance, and job support. Through the IRC’s programs, he learned budgeting and credit skills, bought a car, and worked toward having his degree recognized in the U.S. Within five months, Ramon secured a position at Capital City Bank, where he’s building a stable, independent, and hopeful future.
