Overview:

This project will connect with individuals in person to support employment navigation.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Connect with immigrants and refugee job seekers
  • Support specific employment navigation - resumes, cover letters, trainings, etc.
  • Record all interactions 

 

Requirements: 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Comfortable making cold calls and forming relationships with employers
  • Bilingual language skills a plus, but not required (Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Swahili, Spanish) 

  

Position Logistics:

  • Hours: Weekly, Monday 3-5pm
  • Supervisor: Casework Supervisor
  • Complete a 1-hour virtual Volunteer Orientation & a 20–30-minute safety and security training video
  • Complete and pass background check through HireRight
