The IRC in Atlanta’s Immigration team is working on a digitization project to allow for enhanced record-keeping and client follow-up. We are seeking volunteers to assist in manual and digital document management, client follow-ups, and case closeout.

Responsibilities: 

  • Scan and organize client case files 
  • Follow up with clients regarding case status 
  • File documents into digital database 
  • Assist team with case closeouts 

Requirements: 

  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Strong digital literacy  
  • Background check required  
  • Must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination  
  • Must track and log hours volunteered monthly via our online volunteer dashboard 

Minimum Commitment: 

  • As this role will require specialized training, a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for 6 months is required
