Thanks to an ongoing partnership with Capital Region Adult Education, 25 of IRC Richmond’s adult clients were enrolled in virtual English classes in October. Each semester the IRC enrolls between 25 and 50 clients into this program, equipping them with language skills that will enable and empower them to advocate for their needs, access resources, and expand their employment opportunities. With twice-weekly meetings, students enrolled in these classes gain a wealth of knowledge that will help support them on their path to self-sufficiency.
