Please welcome Krista Lupas, who will be supporting our Early Employment program as our newest AmeriCorps Job Placement! Krista brings a wealth of experience fresh from her service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin, teaching English and building community programs. Krista is also no stranger to the IRC in LA, having volunteered with us over the past year as an Immigration Program Volunteer, and later transitioning to running our weekly English Conversation Club. We look forward to working with Krista over the next year, and especially to more discussions about two of her passions: her favorite vegan recipes and exotic teas!
