Items needed for refugees in Baltimore

Last updated

***UPDATE***  As of 8/1/17, The Resettlement Shop is closed and will no longer be accepting donations due to water damage. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The IRC has a volunteer-staffed donation shop where new refugees can take donated goods for free. This allows first resources provided to refugees to go farther.

Drop-off hours are Monday through Wednesday from 10am-2pm. We will accept donations on the first Saturday of every month from 12-2pm. We will also accept donations once-a-week on Wednesdays from 5-7pm***

Our office is at 3516 Eastern Avenue. Donations can be dropped off in the shop, which is on the Conkling side next to the wall mural. Any contributions are tax deductible.

We are in need of only the following items: clothes and shoes for men and children (we currently have enough women's and baby's clothes); kitchen items; linens; school uniforms; school supplies; toys. Also note that refugees tend to be smaller than Americans, so we can only receive clothing sized large and smaller. Please clean and fold clothing before being dropped off.
