Announcement
Throughout the week of February 13th, staff at the IRC in Silver Spring participated in a Valentine's-themed Spirit Week designed to boost office morale and encourage self-care. Activities included a “twin day” and building a “Wall of Valentines” with words of support, encouragement, and thanks for colleagues. Many staff were personally effected by the Executive Order (EO) issued on immigration, and all staff deeply felt the implications that the order would hold for clients who were separated from family abroad. All staff at the IRC in Silver Spring remain deeply committed to preserving a culture of welcome both within our office and in the Washington, DC community.
