Minimum Commitment: 1 Semester
Hours: 3-9 hours per week
Volunteer in the ESL classes offered at the IRC office. Assist clients in learning English basics like the alphabet and greetings. ESL classes take place at the IRC in Abilene office every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 8:30-10:30. ESL teaching experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Ready to start?
To become a volunteer, you will be asked to fill out an application, complete a background check and attend an orientation. Volunteers must be 18 years-old or older.
