Overview:

This volunteer opportunity will connect with individuals in person 1:1 or in group setting to provide English language support.
 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Connect with immigrants and refugees who need English support
  • Record all interactions 

 

Requirements: 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Bilingual language skills a plus, but not required (Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Swahili, Spanish) 

  

Position Logistics:

  • Hours: 2 hours weekly, in the evening OR Friday 12-2pm
  • Supervisor: Casework Supervisor
  • Complete a 1-hour virtual Volunteer Orientation & a 20–30-minute safety and security training video
  • Complete and pass background check through HireRight
