Note: All IRC internships are unpaid and in-person at the Glendale office.
Current available internships include these roles:
- Refugee Social Services Intern
- Refugee Social Services supports employability services and other services that address participants’ barriers to employment. The intern may support with social adjustment services, interpretation, and translation, daycare for children, referral to internal and external services, applying for benefits, and other tasks that arise.
- Case Work Intern- Survivor Services
- The Case Work Intern works with the Safety & Wellness Team to provide coordination support to survivors of torture, victims of crime, victims of human trafficking, and asylum seeking families living in Arizona.
- Employment Specialist Intern
- The Employment Specialist Intern assists newly arrived refugees and other qualified immigrants to attain self-sufficiency through employment by guiding them through employment preparation, coordinating job placements, and other career advancement services.
- Supply Chain Intern
- Each Fall 2025 Supply Chain Intern will be assigned a service-learning project designed to make a meaningful, beneficial impact for IRC clients by sourcing, receiving, managing, and distributing inventory.
- Administrative Assistant Intern - Immigration
- The Administrative Assistant Intern will serve as the central point of contact for clients with the IRC Immigration Legal Services team. This position involves working directly with clients in a fast-paced environment and providing administrative support to the team.
- Anti-Trafficking & Victim Services Intern
- Anti-Trafficking & Victims Services Intern will be on the Safety & Wellness team providing intensive case management to victims of crime and victims of human trafficking living in Arizona. They will work closely with the team to provide culturally competent, comprehensive services to refugee, foreign national, and immigrant survivors.
- Intensive Case Management Intern
- The ICM intern will work with the team to address barriers to self-sufficiency for refugee and asylee clients, who include clients with serious medical and mental health-conditions and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. The intern will be responsible for providing comprehensive case management to ICM clients.
Please note our internships requires 10 - 15 hours per week for Fall/Spring or 20 - 25 hours per week for Summer term with a 3 month minimum commitment. Hours are only completed Monday - Friday between 9 am- 5pm.
