Volunteer Tutors will support English language learning among refugee and immigrant women who are new to Spokane and face transportation and childcare barriers that prevent them from accessing mainstream services. Volunteer tutors will help them develop basic English language skills and build confidence through weekly, short-term, in-home ESL practice, as well as targeted community orientation activities that support English language acquisition. This volunteer position requires one hour per week with a minimum 6 month commitment.
