In a letter sent to Congressional leadership, corporations, business organizations, and small businesses from across the country called for the passage of the Afghan Adjustment Act before the end of the 117th Congress. As employers and business associations committed to a strong American economy, the signatories recognized the contributions that Afghans have been making to the U.S. workforce and their new communities since they were evacuated and reiterated the urgent need to provide Afghans with long-term certainty and stability through a path to permanent legal status in America.
